Clare’s Patient Story: Single-Tooth Implant Treatment
Clare and her dentist share her experience of having single-tooth implant treatment at The Implant Centre, from a broken tooth and severe dental anxiety to absolute relief.

Clare: My story is that for somebody of my age, my teeth were really in a bad way. When I finally got to the dentist, I wouldn't open my mouth. I'd broken one of my teeth at the front, which is the thing that made me go in the end.
I was so ashamed and scared. Really, very scared.
Clare’s Dentist - Dr Arvin Mirzadeh: I think it was a huge deal for Claire to come through our door. I remember on that first day we didn't even look in her mouth. We just chatted.
Clare: It was a constant sort of talking like this, you know, turning my head away when people spoke to me because I knew that my breath wasn't great.
Clare’s Dentist: She had problems with pain, problems with broken teeth, and difficulty eating. And I think everything was just making Claire feel a little bit self-conscious about herself. I think when we came up with some options for Claire, I think it was just relief on her part that something could be done.
Clare: I was, I was terrified, I would do anything. I had a caesarean when I had my daughter. I would rather go through something like that or whatever than go to the dentist. I was terrified, and I didn't go for probably 15 years, maybe.
Clare’s Dentist: What helped me decide to use The Implant Centre was the efficiency and the speed with which they dealt with patients. I knew that for a nervous patient like Claire, The Implant Centre would be the ideal place to be.
Clare: You know, I'm so glad I've done it. I can't tell you. But it was a long process, and people were very good to me, and I never felt like anybody was judging me. It was just a case of, right, come on, let's sort Claire out and let's do the best job that we can. I always felt like that. I always felt kind of special and that made a difference, you know, that I was being looked after.
