Janet shares her experience of having full-arch implant treatment at The Implant Centre, from crowns and an uncomfortable plate to fabulous implant treatment with fabulous results

I saw an advert in the paper, Dear Doris Day. I said I was going to send a photograph, which I did, and I was chosen as a finalist. I couldn't believe my luck. The prize was ten days in Hollywood and three days in San Francisco, and it was wonderful. I mean, every girl wants you to go to Hollywood, and I went. Then we had to be photographed with Doris Day, and she was so lovely, she just chatted to us all. So that was my claim to fame.
Well, I'd had crowns at the top, I had a plate for half of the top ones, and it was awful. It was uncomfortable, you know I didn't want to keep my teeth in a jar at night, for goodness sake.
Mr. Rasmus, my dentist, talked about implants and he said, “Well, I can do them, but I recommend you go to the place at Palmeira Square (The Implant Centre)”. It was like going into an oasis of calm, Dan and Guy were fabulous. There was no pain, I didn't even need antibiotics. I looked forward to going back there. Now that's saying something, isn't it?
Yeah, I love them, I talk to people more, well, I always did yack away. I mean they've given me so much more confidence now. So many people have commented, and they still do. I can't believe your teeth look fabulous; I wish they'd been there longer. Most people my age would have had it done, and they all say the same thing, you know, how wonderful it was. We can't all be wrong, can we?
