Eileen shares her experience of having full-arch implant treatment at The Implant Centre, from problematic teeth and gum disease to bounding self-confidence and lovely new teeth.

Eileen: I feel like I've had problems with my teeth for most of my life. It might not sound very nice, but when you've got gum disease, you're conscious of it all the time - that you may have bad breath, or someone might notice that your teeth just don't look their best. You know, really, really conscious of the fact that I haven't got very good-looking teeth.
I've never really liked my photograph taken. I always try to smile with my mouth closed or, put something up in front of my mouth, my hand or something.
Eileen’s Daughter: I'm hoping by my mum having dental implants, it will give her a new lease on life. I'm hoping that she'll smile more.
I'm hoping that she'll just have that sparkle back in her eyes and just be the same woman that she is around her children to everyone else.
Guy: One of the best things that really comes out of this type of treatment is spotting the change in people's confidence, spotting the change in their self-esteem. As they go through the phase of treatment, people always start off very anxious and they start off with this low level of general satisfaction with their dentistry.
As things improve through the treatment process, people really, really begin to change. And that is a very wonderful part of the job that we do. This is really self-evident in Eileen's case, where she's become an entirely different person with bounding self-confidence in comparison to when we first met.
Eileen: It’s been beyond my expectations. I've been treated so amazingly, with no pain whatsoever.
Well, it's been about a year and a half now since I've had these new teeth. It's just amazing. I've got a new grandson. He's joined the family. I've got my lovely new teeth. So, I've got so much more to smile about. And I absolutely love my new teeth. They really have changed my life.
