Annie Richards

Annie trained as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist, qualifying from the University of Sheffield in 2020.

Currently, Annie is furthering her skills and knowledge by studying for an MSc in Advanced Periodontal Practice. Her commitment to professional development allows her to provide the best possible care for her patients. She is also a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene & Therapy, reflecting her dedication to staying at the forefront of periodontal care and research.

Passionate about giving back, Annie has volunteered in local schools, delivering oral health education to children, and has travelled to Uganda with Dentaid to support communities, schools, and orphanages with essential dental care.

Known for her compassionate and patient-centred approach, Annie takes time to understand the needs of each individual, helping them feel comfortable and confident in improving their oral health. She is dedicated to promoting preventative dentistry, recognising the important link between oral health and overall well-being.

Outside of work and study, Annie enjoys spending time in the mountains either skiing or hiking, travelling, walking her dog on the beach, and spending time with her husband, friends, and family.
