When people have lost a lot of their teeth or even all their teeth, that's where ‘Teeth in a day’ really comes into its own. The patient will arrive in the morning, we will place some implants, and then we will make and fit a fixed set of teeth that are screwed securely onto the implants. They leave later that day with a beautiful set of teeth.
There's a lot of preparation that needs to be done in advance. So, there are a few appointments beforehand to make sure that everything is ready on the day of surgery. Once the implants have been placed and the ‘secure fixed bridge’ is on them, the patient will wear that for a few months, before finally having the permanent bridge made. Something that we would hope will last years and years and years. It's one of the most rewarding forms of treatment that we do for patients, it is properly life changing.
