Ian was involved in a car accident four years ago fracturing his upper front teeth, central incisors.

Sadly these teeth had to be extracted after they became infected and he had to wear a denture. However he found the denture uncomfortable and he lost confidence eating and especially speaking with it. He occasionally has to present to clients so found this worrying. He used to love crunching into apples.

After discussing his concerns with his dentist a consultation appointment was quickly arranged with The Implant Centre. During his initial assesment he was informed that one of teeth next to the missing teeth needed to be extracted so he would have three missing teeth. The simple implant solution was to extract the tooth, place two implants and restore the implants with a temporary bridge.

This treatment was all undertaken at the same time to reduced the number of visits and meant that the current denture did not have to be worn while waiting for the implants to heal. Three months later the new bridge was made over the three appointments. Ian was involved in the shape and color of his new teeth throughout this procedure visiting the dental laboratory to observe the process. Photographs of his original teeth were given to the technician in order to help him with the final shape and not until Ian was happy with the shape and colour of his bridge was it fiited.

Ian was delighted with the final result. One month later at his review appointment he said he was talking with more confidence and smiling more. He had regained his confidence talking to clients.  He had the confidence to crunch apples.
